About SZHLUX
Light for growing, gear for resting
SZHLUX is a brand of LED grow lights, hammocks and garden tools, sold on Amazon, known for its soil moisture meter.
We began with LED grow lights, and the name now covers 40 products in five departments, from a 40W strip for a seed shelf to a hammock stand rated for 500 lb.
Where it started
It started with a grow light
Our first U.S. trademark was filed in January 2019 for LED lighting fixtures, already in use at the time, and it was registered that July. The product notes on our 2 ft grow light still open with the line we started from: “We are a professional manufacturer of grow lights.”
Our bar lights use a trapezoid tube of our own design, with a wider light-emitting face than a round T5 or T8 tube, in an aluminum shell with no fan.

Four principles behind the SZHLUX range
Sized by the floor
Our bar lights state the floor they cover, from 4 × 4 ft to 7 × 7 ft, so you match a light to a tent, not to a wattage.
Numbers in plain sight
Rated load on anything you sit or lie in, power on every light, steel grade on every blade.
Built for outside
Parachute nylon that dries fast, sewn strap loops instead of knots, steel stands with no tools to assemble.
Limits said out loud
No dimmer on the strips, two steps on the 400W, about an inch of soft wood for the shears.
Our position
We would rather you buy the right light than the biggest one.
That goes for hammocks too. A camping hammock needs two healthy trees between 9 and 20 feet apart, and where there are none, a steel stand is the better buy.

Then we went outside
From the tent to the yard
People who grow their own food spend long hours outside, and our range followed them. Camping hammocks in 210T parachute nylon pack into their own pocket. Hammocks on steel stands carry 450 to 500 lb on a lawn or the sand.
Around them sit the tools a garden asks for: snips, SK5 steel bypass shears, a moisture meter with no battery, and live traps in galvanized steel.
